Scout is about something larger than wine - it’s about community.

Wine brings people together, so does art. What happens when you combine the two? Each vintage we partner with an artist who creates a portfolio of artwork allowing for each wine to feature a unique piece of art.

Judy Blakelock

"I derive imagery and inspiration from the manner in which we inhabit and occupy space. Particularly the way in which space can be alluded to and constructed in a 2D visual field. I love windows for the manner in which they shape space, create pathways into new environments and contextualize the new within the old. Like windows, art, design and pattern, can be utilized to create visual channels that influence and inspire exploration of the space they inhabit. My interest in space and spatial interaction has developed into the consideration of how art, design, and pattern are integrated into the aesthetic of everyday life. Pattern has always been entangled with my visual language. I drift towards graphic elements; things that can be repeated and echoed".

“After graduating from Hobart and William Smith in 2022 I am now based in Boston, MA. Throughout my earlier years in academia, I have always valued art within educational curriculums. Approaching college, I knew that I wanted to continue my studies in the arts and that led me to minoring in Studio Art at HWS. My main focus of study was biology, which you can see contributes to the organic shapes in my pieces derived from nature. My mentor and my first Studio art Professor at HWS was Phillia Yi, who took my realistic painting background and turned it on it’s head with silkscreen printmaking. Now, in the present, that is my medium of choice. Inspired by water with it’s movement and interactions with the world is where my organic, abstract imagery is based and developed.”
